Kitchen Knives in practice
Ceramic kitchen knives are the centre of the WORLUX TOOLS range. Each model is a finished catalog item with a defined blade length, handle material and packaging format, so a buyer can start from a proven shape and then specify handle colour, blade finish and retail packaging for their own label.
The blades are sintered zirconia, which sits at roughly 8.5 on the Mohs hardness scale against 5 to 6 for steel. That hardness is why a ceramic edge holds for months of home use without steeling, and why the blade never reacts with food: no metallic taste, no browning on cut apple or avocado, no transfer of onion aroma into fruit. A ceramic blade also weighs about half as much as the steel equivalent, which changes how a set feels in the hand and how it is positioned on a retail shelf.
